OFFICE   ORDER

 

                   In exercise of the power conferred by Section 4A of the Mizoram Liquor (Prohibition) Amendment Act, 2025 the undersigned hereby declares Dry Days for the whole area of Aizawl Municipal Corporation w.e.f. 4:00 PM of 20.04.2026 to 4:00 PM of 21.04.2026 (i.e. 48 hours, immediately preceding the hours fixed for conclusion of Poll Day) and shall includes re-poll day (23rd April, 2026), if necessary and on 27.04.2026 (the date on which Counting of votes is to be taken up) on account of General Election to the Aizawl Municipal Corporation, 2026  during which sale and consumption of any intoxicating liquor or wine shall be prohibited in the said areas.
